The story of Everett Prewitt’s life could have been titled From the Poolrooms to the Boardrooms, but that would only tell part of the story. His journey—from the streets of his neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio, to the war in Vietnam, from school hallways to corporate offices—is a vivid tapestry of growth, resilience, and insight.

A Vietnam War veteran and former Army officer, Prewitt draws on a wealth of life experiences: confronting racism, building lasting relationships, facing danger, and finding humor in the everyday. His early battles with bullies taught him the value of persistence—a trait that would prove essential in war, business, and beyond.

With unflinching honesty and thoughtful reflection, Prewitt shares the life moments that shaped him, offering readers hard-earned wisdom for navigating life’s rough terrain.
